Blackberry Tart

Greetings ladies and gents! This is our first installment of Tasty Byte, and boy do we have a killer-byte for you to munch on! The recipe that we will be conquering today is a Blackberry Tart. Follow these instructions carefully to have the tastiest dessert on the block!

Ingredients
For starters, here's the ingredients that you'll be needing:  flour, baking soda, oil (whatever kind suits you), water, a pinch of salt, a Blackberry, more blackberries and, of course, whipped cream.

Mixing
Next step: As in any recipe, you must mix the dry ingredients. So take your flour (about a half a cup, depending on how thick you want your crust), a dash of baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Mix 'em together like this:
So dry
Alrighty, the next step is to add the wet ingredients. Add about a lid-full of oil and however much water it takes to make the dough have the consistency of dough. (People say baking is a science, but eye-balling it is much more adventurous.)
So doughy
The Crust
The next step is to flatten out your dough and place the Blackberry in the center. and form the crust around it. It'd be a good idea to put greased tin foil around the outside of the doughy crust to ensure that it will keep its shape whilst baking.

With filling!
Baking
Now ratchet up that culinary miracle called an oven to about 320ยบ and bake for about 15 minutes. Baking time will depend on the thickness of your crust and the temperature at which your oven is set. If I were you, I'd watch it like a paranoid neighbor. It's safe to take it out of the oven when its nicely golden brown. But then again, if you like burnt crust, then keep it in there longer.
Warm and toasty
Coming out!
Assembling
Now is the fun part. Pop your nugget out of the tin foil, set it on a plate, and let the decorating begin. I like to put the blackberry juices all over the Blackberry and the plate to make it look classier. Load on the blackberries and the whipped cream. Try to go all out and decorate hardcore like your art professor taught you. The cooler it looks, the more delighted your guests will be when tasting your culinary baby.
Tasty tasty tasty
This has been the first installment of Tasty Byte. Cooking for People With a High Budget. I hope your culinary endeavors end on a high note, don't burn anything down, and take a large byte outta life!
